    New to forum and growing.

I began my project from seed and transplanted to one gallon then into 5 gallon and on in a 15 gallon side last transplant 2 weeks ago trouble seems plants don't dry out keep registering wet zone at its core. But also plant is growing every day and each pot shows roots at their bottoms. Pots are also heavy feel to lifting. Some leaf show slight tip curl claw nail but only a few on two sativa the others are indicated and show no concern other that heavy and registering wet after 6 days since last water. I water from their bottoms and flush from their top. Any response on what I'm experience or common knowledge on what I ought to be looking st is appreciated. Hope thus read makes some sense.

If your soil is retaining water thats bad. Do you have risers under them (so air can get under)? I have removed the riser from a plant, but that plant liked water and had to be water 2-3 times a day, only way I could keep the soil moist.
    Need input!Welcome to GWE.

I have plants in pots 5 gallon with several holes in the bottom and sides all are in trays. I can see the roots of all four plants at their bottoms ports . My medium is soil "Happy Frog" from fox farm Humboldt. It is made for cannabis. But I think I over watered severely first two weeks after transplanting into larger pots. I've spent the last three days in full sun and they seem to be getting lighter in weight water evaporating I hope. I plan to start watering from the bottom trays only and only mounting the top soil and leaves every two or three days from now until I move them outdoors on June 1st. I think maybe also the soil retains alot of water. The larger pot is still reading wet at its core on the water meter. Tomorrow will be the start of the third week after the transplant. All plants are growing daily and look great but still concerned about the one in the 15 gallon pot mostly.

I would also loose the water meter. Put it with mine in the trash!

            Roger that.
I put my girls out in the sun again full day sun and feed water from their bottom. They all enjoyed a good long drink as quickly as I filled their trays. sat them in position to give good air flows at their roots. I estimate this will continue now every four days or so as needed no more over watering and no more from the top soil. Thanks for your goid advice and responses. I grew 2 last year and had no issues start to finish they were clones I bought form a cannabis outlet "Blackberry Kush" produced fair for small plants still have an ounce left. I only use the cannabis to make cans butter for edibles. Excellent. I grew 4 this season and from seed I hope to complete the season with 4 mature plants. Purple Haze Maui Wowie and two indica doms Big Bud first time growing so far so good. I hope this last I truly love the experience of growing and learning and the insights from this plant. Wow.

Welcome Elmo, have fun swellin your brainal cavity. Wait, that sounded wrong.

Learned a lot this year. pH and whiteflies are issues that need controlling. Maybe an auto over January.....hmmmm...
