    Slow to bud?

This is my purple auto, 7 weeks old today. Should it be looking a bit more "buddy" by now?
It's companion under the lights, a blueberry auto - same age - is far more developed.
    Opinions? Suggestions?

That Purple auto is like 65% sativa. It's probably going to stretch a bit more.

Could you post some better pics so we can see the whole plant and its tentmate. Also a little more info like watering, pH etc.

OK Catfish22 . First two photos are the blueberry with a bud, 2nd two are the purple with bud.
Watering: a couple of weeks ago at pre-flower I switched to a low nitrogen soluble feed 12.5-25-25, interspersed with molasses for soil conditioning.
My ph kit is a bit unsophisticated - just litmus paper. I measured the run-off yesterday and it stayed a neutral yellow colour.
They're on a 20/4 lighting cycle under LED. Humidity is being maintained at around 45%

The purple seed, incidentally, is indica. See link below for full description.

In my experience every auto Flowers at different times. I have 7 autos of blue widow haze going and they all started flower at a different time. There is different phenotypes from seed to seed just like with photoperiod cannabis.

OK, it looks like the reason is really just 2 different strains. I don't grow in soil and I haven't done any sativa dominant plants, however the many I have seen all are stretchy like yours and the colas are kind of separated on the branches. Your plants look healthy and the purple is just a slower developer. Look back and compare some of the pics from the past 10 days and compare how the blueberry looked right before it started to make a lot of pistils.

i know on the plants I have grown and I was told by folks on here that when the leaves stop coming in pairs and come every other leaf that is a sure sign of flowering.

I use litmus paper all the time, it's handy for a quick check. There is a color chart for litmus paper for pH. Might try Google.
          Happy farming! 🙂🌱

Thanks Catfish22 for those reassuring words. I guess it's a case of "patience is a virtue".
