Lots of spring wildflowers showing more an more here around our place. Worked outdoors parts of the day transplanted clones into 3 gal containers and getting my new soil mixed for outdoor. My annuals not big enough yet there in the hippie greenhouse ambient heat just sun as it passes over. Shaggy dogs old pic they got a new haircut but were not around for pics they took a ride on the 4wheeler.

Finally it's warm here to go and work in Louise's garden. Got a lot onions growing inside, the nights are too cold yet to move it outside. Tomorrow I'm thinking of starting some pepper seedling . Yeah I still have some clean-up left to do in the grow room. Will see, they are forecasting rain for tomorrow.

panalilies I raised Siamese cats in the past, later I inherited my first pug. Pugs shed year round, I live in a beige world so a matching cat was the only way to go. Liam in the corner (my profile pic pug) chose what name he would answer to, it means head strong/strong willed, quite fitting. Jack'son's name is short for Jack Nicholson. The cat was a rescue before the shutdown, his breeder's paperwork says Sunny but it's crossed out and says Sam, the breeder's name is Samuel. I often call him Son of Sam.

They’re really cute! My dog is having a bromance with a pug down the road that could be their twin. They go mental crawling on each other whenever they are together.

DeadlyFruit - Pugs are very playful. I got the younger one as a 6 wk old, he and the 10 month old played like littermates, bitey face, pug-o-war with toys. Some day I should share a video of the young one pulling the other pug, who's sitting in a doggy bed, across the laminate floor until they hit an area rug, it was like running onto dry land. I call him a Boat Mule.

I was born and raised in TN before I moved up to IL. I do not miss the heat and humidity of the South. Only the amazing thunderstorms, it only rains up here

That's what I need. I had a 2010 derecho wipe out 25 yr old professional landscaping, my front yard looks like a new house was put up. I planted three arborvitae for privacy in front of bedroom windows, one died, a 2020 derecho ruined the other two. I just want perennial flowers and some hardscape, I have a huge rock to decorate around. Insurance pays max $500 for landscaping, doesn't go very far. Planted three trees in the sunny backyard: volunteer maple transplant, free Earth Day red oak that was a 12" stick, and a red bud dug up from the side of a road near the river bottoms. They're all doing well, even after last August's IL hurricane/derecho. I lost two new trees I planted in back, in front an oriental lilac bush, two red bud trees, ground cover, a Yucca, 3 boxwood bushes, and several evergreens and other bushes on the west side. Still makes me ill thinking about it.
