    New toys

Somehow I talked my wife into letting me buy a new grow light and another 2x4x6 tent. Can't wait till it gets here. Went with mars hydro for first time. Never liked them before they changed their light's. Glad they are making better quality lights. I couldn't stand blurple leds. I usually build my own leds. Got the sp3000 and tent is also mars hydro. Will take some pics when it gets set up.

Thanks! I'll have to take pics of all my tents once I get things cleaned up

Got my young plants in there already. My 2x4 seedling tent was packed. Measured it today and it's only 1.5 ft wide. The mars hydro tent I just got is 2ft. I only have a tiny qb in seedling tent and it's enough for seedlings or 2x2 area.

I grew 7 of them last harvest. Every one turned out different pheno lol. One hermied on me as well. Was pretty good smoke but not the best I ever had.

Haha it was weird I asked if I could buy it and she just says yes and nothing else. Usually big purchases she argues forever.

SoOrbudgal some pics of 3 run homer from earlier this year. Packed on the Trichs on every pheno I grew. Unfortunately the hermied plant seeded them all.

Well that's a shame about the seeding of them. No matter hopefully this time your " Homer" LOL will be all female. I'm growing her also for my own fun & love of A League Of Their Own.......i use to play, tore muscles in both quads had to give it up LOL. I continue to watch the games mostly little league.

I have a 2x4x6 mars hydro tent and was surprised when I needed a round vent hole on the bottom and it didn't have one. I understand you want the hot air vented out the top and the cool air coming in from the bottom but, no bottom round vent holes. It has lots of square ones but they let light in. I don't understand why they build them this way but I guess they know something I don't. Good luck.

I agree this is a problem. I have 2 5x5 tents and I use the round holes at the bottom with 8ft dryer ventilation to make light proof.

I do the same with the dryer vent hose. My problem with no round vents on the bottom only became a problem when I had to raise my light (GLS 300 led) and it covered BOTH vent holes on the sides. I had to take my inline fan and carbon filter outside the tent. This was only a problem because my light is the same width as the tent, 4 foot. Other than that it is a very good tent, well worth the extra $30 or $40 dollars it cost over the off brands.

Secret jardin sells a light baffle for their tents. Works alright but you need at least 2 for a 5x5. I'm really tempted to do this to them but you have to cut a hole in the side of the tent
