Yea those are the ones. Just to be clear I only use those when it's in mason jars. I have never vacuum packed one of those in with the bud. I don't imagine they would hurt anything tho

Oh, you are talking about the little things used in cigar humidors. I didn't know what you meant at first. They'd be easy enough to get around here. We have a tabacco shop at the mall.

I don't know if I would put those electronic silica things in with my weed. They might dry it out more than you want. Not sure about that. Just a thought

I hear both of you about not crushing the buds. I don't know for sure if we'd be storing for a year, but probably at least six months. just depends on our final yield. Either way, we already bought the seal a meal. It might seem old school, but that is what hubby is used to.

I vacuum pack. Be careful with the machine it can really crush up your bud it you vacuum it for to long. If it's vacuum packed and stored in a dry place it should last a REALLY long time.
I use boveda humidity packs in mason jars. I wonder if you could vacuum pack with a boveda pack in there and make it last longer??

Longest I've stored buds for was 6 months.
I vacuum seal mine out in one ounce bags but not fully vacuumed, I don't like having the buds completely squashed as it ruins the bud structure. Then I just store it in a box in the cupboard where there's no light and temperature/humidity are pretty stable. There would be better ways to go about it but it works for me and I haven't had any problems so far. It could be luck or...

Does anyone do this. Then store in the refrigerator. I'm talking about one ounce packages. How do you store your buds for up to a year?
