End of second week 12/12 lighting..

    Hello guys and girls.

So I have made it to the end of the second week of 12/12 lighting schedule, and have learnt a few more things thanks to you guys and the website. I will be re-arranging the lights this evening when my room mate is back from work, ES300's side by side and the 600w HPS for the other 1/3 of the tent. It not only make sense to me, thank you for helping me work that out bboyfromwayback, it will help with access into the tent for me while I'm recovering. At the moment LED's are sitting at 24" from canopy and the HPS is 18" from canopy. I am running on 3/4 strength nutrients, EC 1.6 and PH 6.2. The temperature has been sitting on 24 to 25°C and the humidity between 50% to 60%.

I will be attempting to take some more clones this afternoon as well. I will be using Mr Green's tutorial on the website as a reference, and also trying the water in a cup method which was suggested to me by SoOrbudgal. From what I have been reading, you should take any buds off the branch when cloning in flowering. Has anyone got any experience with this? Any tips on how to remove the bud or for when I'm cloning?

I'm also wondering about doing a light defoliation at this stage? I am starting to get a lot of wet spots between leaves and pretty sure the plants will benefit from it. I have uploaded some photos, would really appreciate peoples thoughts on this. As I am quite new to defoliation, I really don't want to stuff the plants up at this stage. Was planning on doing a full defoliation and lollipopping at week 3 of 12/12 lighting.

Any advice on the questions above, improving my growing style and grow setup, etc is always appreciated and welcome. Thank you for your time once again. Cheers.

Spread them out more if you can. LST them out a little wider and you’ll probably be ok to wait to defoliate

Thanks buddy, wasn't sure if it was good or not for the plants to be doing that during the stretch. Cheer
