Beginner- Is this a pistil or not? [PHOTO]

Hey there, just joined specifically to get help.

A friend gave my roomie a plant, of unknown specs and origins that I've been caring for... A few months now? I read a little but I still don't know the sex. It's summer here and the plant is outdoors in a pot, so it's been an eternal vegetative state. But it's getting to the point I need to know the sex so I can decide to keep it or not.

I was checking for pre flowers last night and I saw a weird fuzzy White hair, which could be an odd single pistil or just my wishful thinking. What do you say? Am I seeing things? Should I clone and force flowering?

    Welcome toxicpink,
In the third photo, it looks as if it very well may be a pistil. Give it a couple of more days and look at it then. I have had a few pistils that when they first emerged, they were almost green, although, very light green.
Keep an eye on it and good luck with your grow.
    Smoke weed,.....grow peace!

Toxicpink, I do not see a calyx. The pistil will emerge from the calyx which looks like a teardrop.. I may be wrong, hope so, but to me it does not look like a pistil, possible just the beginning of new growth.

FYI, taking a clone and force flowering by switching the light schedule is a great idea.

Give it till the week end and you'll know for sure, kinda looks like early pistil but hard to tell.
