Canuck147 Don't be ascared bro, I took a couple of autos and just out of curiosity and boredom I did everything we're told not to do with autos. I topped em trimmed em tied em down then topped em again spread em out and topped em yet again, and stripped em butt nekid. And around week 5 took a couple of trimmings and cloned em. Damn I'm such a rebel! Well, the clones I just let grow untouched. Huh, ended up with a two foot tall bud. I've a few pics, I'll show you up under her skirt at what I like to think of as a sex line... three mains. Granted this did extend the grow. time wise, but who cares eh?I dropped the seeds on 12/1 and called it quits around the end of March. Oh yeah they are sweet tooth autos. They say "you can't do that!" I say "shut up and hold my beer" Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1942.JPG Views:	0 Size:	2.05 MB ID:	508835Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1961.JPG Views:	0 Size:	2.21 MB ID:	508836Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1974.JPG Views:	0 Size:	2.60 MB ID:	508837Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1962.JPG Views:	0 Size:	2.34 MB ID:	508838Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1970.JPG Views:	0 Size:	1.61 MB ID:	508839Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1969.JPG Views:	0 Size:	1.78 MB ID:	508840Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_2026.JPG Views:	0 Size:	1.62 MB ID:	508841Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_2036.JPG Views:	0 Size:	2.00 MB ID:	508842Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_2037.JPG Views:	0 Size:	2.09 MB ID:	508843

Lucy up next - perused her over and over - didn't know what to do with this jumbled mess in the middle
Decided to try and get those 2 main branches to grow away from me middle and let that jumbled mess sort it self out

I'm still following your grow. Been busy with harvest 🙂 Just my Sugar Breath left to chop.
Your plants are doing really nice, thanks for sharing your steps. My Auto seeds are calling me from fridge to be planted, exciting to choose which.

Took the kids outside for watering and feeding - full strength nutes - readjusted their bindings to allow for their slight vertical growth. Adjusted the light as well - love these ratchet systems each click moves them 1/4 inch.

Lucy lost 4 leaves - see how much she pouts this time. I don't think it will be long - they like their nutrients.

I've projected down the road regarding my strategy with regs and realized that even with more seeds than I can use for one strain, that I will eventually be steered toward finding a "holy grail" of a female and cloning her ad infinitum rather than starting twice the seeds I need then culling males every grow. The nice thing is, with enough seed stored away, I can always start over if she croaks or I get my fill. The deal with autos, even with regular auto seeds is that they push you toward buying auto fems over and over out of convenience. On the nicer side, with auto regs you can refine the strain to your liking with selective breeding if you have the means and the patience and still get the benefits of autoflowers.

Yeah- all the autos I've tried so far stretched tall so I planned on top fillin these ones. Not knowing to not do that lol. & then these didn't stretch anyways

There's no guarantees when making seeds, I grew mostly reg seeds and many years the average was definitely not 50% I think reg seeds grow better weed but in these tents it really sucks to only get 2 or 3 females out of 10 seeds. Like you are growing through now..... so the answer to your question is, maybe... lol sorry best I can do

Edit = I had to come back and add I prolly had the same number of years with 8 out of 10 females

Growing regular seeds is different - odds are in your favor Budgal for not producing males.

I could pop a thousand Ghost Train Haze seeds and see how the male/female split looks for homemade seeds.
