    Flip time

Hello everyone! I'll be flipping my baby (White Widow) in a week or two. She's been in Coast of Maine Stonington Blend so far but I'd like to know the best possible nutritional addition(s) that can compliment Stonington Blend. It's has been my first experience with Stonington Blend and so far so good!

    I've included a photo taken today, March 31, 2021 @ 6:25pm est, exactly 9 weeks from germination

She's getting big there demcc3 i've read about that soil all good. I been using Age Old Organics Bloom for couple years been happy with it. May want to defoliate prior to the flip and then again after 3wk of flower show. Just an idea she's pretty bushy but real healthy looking

As always, thank you for your helpful response! I've trained the outside branches a little bit and have defoliated some but honestly...I suck at it! What am I supposed to do...? I've been removing the large fan leaves underneath as well as smaller growths from the larger branches (and I do that a little at a time)

I personally have used General Hydroponics Flora Trio in soil and had no issues. That soil you use likely runs out of nutrients in about 4 weeks so time to add more likely now or very soon.

I would also encourage a little plant training. The size looks okay but she could be bigger. I find that white widow tends to like cooler temps in late bloom too
I hope there is an afterlife...there are a lot of friends and family I'd like to see again, one day.

Thank you for your response! I've been instructed by two separate grow shops AND Coast of Maine support that Stonington Blend needs very little additional nutrients during veg other than a few handfuls of fresh soil worked in the top 2 or so inches for each watering.
I've used the General Hydroponics trio before with previous grows and thought it was meh. It wasn't bad nor did it blow my mind away.

But you're right about "it could be bigger." I'd rather it be around 20+" before I flip (its around 15" currently). I have the outside branches trained somewhat.

I'm using Coast of Maine Stonington blend on 2 autos. They burned through the nutrients in the soil pretty quickly during veg (about 4 weeks). Now that they are in flower I'm using Technaflora nutes. They've responded well to it but I'm only feeding half strength every 2 to 3 waterings.

Your welcome. Keep an eye out for deficiencies once you flip them to flower. The nutes in the soil will be used up fast in flower. Good luck buddy
