    Scrogging vs mainlining

Hey all noob here running a dwc with two 7 gallon totes and I’ve seen so much on mainlining, topping, and the infamous scrog net. Which do you guys prefer and why? I’ve read journals where if you both ways right you can get the same yield so I figured I’d ask experts why my little guys are still seedlings

Can't you do both? Scrog your topped plants....?

Some varieties require a net or two to keep their colas from falling over once they get heavy. Both of my current hydro grows are manifolded and have a net.

Even with two nets going in the previous grow, I still had to use some of those!

Top em,tie em down, spread em out,Firstly tho get your pH and temps. under control, then feed em the proper amount of ferts. Lastly,or maybe firstly, you should read some of the swell tutorials on G.W.E about all of this stuff. Good luck, peace out.

Soil grower here, but I have bought into the mainline/manifold method. Regularly getting 20+ oz from a 4x4x6.5 every 18 weeks, from seed, is pretty cool.

Scrog one plant and manifold the other, see which method you prefer.

I sorta do both, but leaning more and more towards mainlining. DWC and about the same tote size.
