    Manifolding!

Nebula's Manifolding Step 1: Top to 3rd node and clean all extra growth except top 2 growth tips and their fan leaves. Pics show the 3rd node fan leaves have been removed. When are you supposed to trim them off? Thanks

I waited a few days until the tips were growing strong. They need the energy from those fans until there are enough on the tip branches to support them.

Thanks BigOne, that's pretty much what I thought but wanted to hear it from someone who has done it.

I do not believe I have ever thought about trimming those fan leaves. Where was that pic with the 3rd node fans chopped off?

I also restrained the side branches flat until they reached the edge of the pot. In retrospect, I'm not so sure it was necessary to go that far. It added more than a week to my veg time.
I switched to flower 12/12 2 days ago at day 71 from sprout.

It shows both pics, one with fan leaves and scroll down and one without those same fan leaves.
