    SOIL New to growing

I I’ve just started growing and some of my plants are on week 2 and I see a lot of green stuff is building up on my soil I’ve only water them once since I’ve planted them anyone know what it could be or what I should do I don’t want to throw it out. I mean they leaves are bright green but the plant is still slowly growing

It's called algae - just stir it up - something Bob Marley would do.

That's probably algae, which grows whenever the relative humidity is kept high, and/or when the pot has little to no drainage, and/or the soil is consistently overwatered. Don't water it before the topsoil is dry and the pot is noticeably light, poke some holes in the bottom so the water can run off, and check that you have good airflow in your grow space. Perhaps you should discard the topsoil with the algae before it becomes a problem.
