I'm new to growing. This plant is few weeks old. Started out good but last several days the leaves started turning yellow around the edges and burnt edges.I've read several articles but don't know if it's nut burn, lighting problem or watering problem. Can someone take a look at my pic and please give me some feedback on what I'm doing wrong? Thank you

Hi Toxic
You didn't show a pic but the way you describe it I'd say nutrient burn but could be all you say. Make sure you mix nutrients in order and don't mingle the nutrients if you get nutrient lock that means the plants can't eat at all and the best cure is flush in dwc or flush in soil.
Look on the nutrient bottle or just google the product and find feeding schedule. I went to the dollar store and bought each bottle their own measuring spoons, don't ever mix them I use a rubber band to hold them to one bottleBubblehead

Thank you for the feedback I use mg all purpose plant food. Is that worth using or should I try something else. I was scared to flush b cause I'm waiting on my ph kit in the mail and didn't know if I flushed with regular water if it would hurt the plant more or not. Thank you for any feedback you might have

It sounds a lot like root rot. To fix it currently water with Hydrogen peroxide at 3% (the stuff you find in the 1st aid isle). To actually fix it permanently add more perlite to your mix (start with 1Perlite : 3Soil). Water until you see water pouring/draining out the bottom of the pot. Then, let your pot fully dry out until the leafs start to lose turgor pressure very slightly. This 'drying out' should take no more than 2-3 days.
