So then I'll make the same comment. Just put her in the container you plan on killing her in. Get it over with.

Topping and training look fantastic. Agree with those above. Get her transplanted into a 5 gal pot and be done with it.

The manifold looks great. Don't have that much experience with it but all my photo's will be manifolded. My baglady will harvest soon and she has the nice 'table top' look.Take care and stay on top of it.

Looking beautiful, nice job! Agreed, final resting place stat! Got myself in similar pickle, moved some veggers from 1gal to 3gal 10 days ago, guess who's moving them to 5 gallons this week end already!?!? They grow fast in veg and if you used any root wizard or the like, watch out brother!

Great looking plants 420!...I am very interested in manifolding myself (total newbie on my first grow) but I just topped 2/3 of my plants; so far the results are looking good. I still want to manifold the remaining plants, I'm just nervous that I'll screw something up and destroy them. I'm about 5 weeks into my predominantly sativa (or mostly sativa) experiment and I'm reserving my manifolding attempts for the 'indicas' in my tent. Your stuff looks great! Don't you think a 3-gallon pot is at the bottom limit of size for your plants? I've got both 5 gallon smart pots and 3 gallon plastic pots; next time it will be exclusively 5-gal smart pots. I feel that germinating in a 'starter dome' (2 weeks) and then transplanting into the final pot is the way to go; avoid transplanting repeatedly to keep the plant from being overly stressed. I'm using custom-mixed bagged soil with liquid notes; very happy with the results so far.

Ran out of promix.. and in a goeos two hour drive to the nearest place I can get some at discreetly I topped a trained all of my strawberry coughs and tried a cupl of the bubbas. But thieyre being a bitch ro train so I just topped the other two and left one to do its own thing. I might keep that last one in veg and see what the others do. I also threw in a granddaddy ppurple in on the manifold to see how she would do. I figure try a few out and if I flop a cupl no big deal.

I was wondering, did you transplate them to a bigger container after seedling or have you grow them on your main soil since the start? I'm manifolding and the trade off between doing it with or without transplantation is intriguing me. If I transplante them I'll be able to grow the early veg on a small container, so she will probably grow healthier and stronger and when the time comes, I'll have to stress them a lot by moving and manifolding.. but if I set them babies on a 6-7 gallon container from the start, I'll save the stress from transplantation and they won't grow as they were in the first scenario.

Anyone have a guess on that?

                          Hi Mr Pot

Reading what you wrote stress is something you don't want to happen it slows down the timetable you're growing by, transplanting is a stress. Growing in a smaller container is stress, why is because the roots want to spread out and get ready for the 9 foot plant it's going to be (photo) shorter if (auto).

My advice is for growing (photo's) 5 gallon fabric pot (Auto) 3 gallon. Start them in the rapid rooter in the size pot I just said no transplant and don't water on the stalk. That advice will make happy and healthy plants no guessing about that.

                          Hi 420

Great job manifolding, you didn't mutilate the girls you're making them have more buds. Watch out with the watering one pic showed a little droopy. What size is the growing pots for the plants?

you're running out of room to soon ? this auto is in a 3 gallon fabric and I topped it, now it's half way to flower but I can still train some with room to

hold down and fill the pot with colas.

                          Happy growing!

I'm kinda newbie grower. Read a lot but not sure of what I'll do yet. Anyway, I've read that starting a seedling on those red cups would make a good start for rooting, and the idea was to transplant them to a main container afterwards. From what users told me, I gave up on this idea. I was just wondering a good setup por photo seeds when it comes to manifold.. people said 6-8 gallons containers, other said 5.. I guess I'll give a try on a 5-6 gallon.

There's a Nebula guide saying that seedling and early vega on big containers are possible but kinda waste of time coz the roots don't develop as good as in small ones. I just wanted to hear what people who have manifold before has to say about the technique. I gave up on the idea of transplanting, but I'm wondering if the roots will grow well in a 5-6 gallon and how should I water it when it's seedling, if only wetting the rapid rooter is enough or the main soil should be watered too (it's a specific seedling question).

thats the bubbas i just topped them once and theyre proving to be a lil more fussy on nutrients and waterings. my strawberry cough and gdp are doing good tho! filling in their 5gallon pots really nicely. im aiming for at least 8 good tops from the strawberrys a gdps...
