I think you bleached and burnt the buds with doing lights on. That's what i think

I agree, too close to lights. Also too dense a canopy, but that's not why the plants are burned.

You probably wouldn't want to be smoking buds that you sprayed with dish soap in week 5 of flower. Sometimes, you got to take your losses and come back stronger.

Those little branches looks like ones that didn't get enough direct light from being blocked by a thick canopy.

I know its pricey, but Trifecta Crop Control would be a better choice to fight WPM, all natural and said to be safe to harvest. I can tell you it did not change the flavors of the buds last year.
Air movement is the key, the air must be able to move through the plants (no leaf should touch another). Fans help, RH low will help (like below 50%).
FoghornLeghorn I have read reports of the mix you used doing exactly what you show. There is a thread on using apple cider vinegar with water to combat WPM, it seemed to work here, but I had only a minor outbreak. H2O2 and water also did not work, milk and water did not work.

I sprayed my outdoor with baking soda last summer for wpm. It did the exact same thing, and it was a cloudy day. After a few days, new pistils started to form again. This was also the time that it took for more mildew to form, requiring respraying☹️
Got a touch indoors as well and tried out Apple cider vinegar @ 1 tsp per liter at lights out. ( after wiping off all visual spots with a damp paper towel)
This is a treatment that some members were trying out last summer with success. After 2 daily treatments, it was still forming slowly daily. I added a daily spray with 60/40 water to milk at lights on, each morning, continuing with the ACV at lights out, and this combination stopped it in its tracks. I heavily sprayed both the leaves, buds, and soil.
I harvested after 3 weeks of treatment, giving them a plain water wash after chopping, before trimming. The finished product Is cured and delicious. No off flavours at all.
it’s a damn pain in the Lester, but you can make it to harvest if you want to really work for it👍
            good luck!
