Hello, I am experiencing issues with these autos that am trying to grow. Originally I wanted help with my first borns but alas they stunted 1 went mutant the other flowered in a very tiny stage. But now I am having similar issues with 2 out of 4 auto flowers. I don't know if its heat related or water logged. MY set up is DIY using pop bottles I painted black, a piston pump that pushes plenty and 2 sets of LED'S lights,1 which claims is 1000 watts then other like 300 . I am feeding Master Blend,1 gallon mix recipe. Here are some pictures of set up plants in question and my first mutant. what could have cause all this issues?. I have 2 fems growing just fine and 2 of the autos doing good as well They could be better but hey I am working with what I have, lol a poor mans set up. Thank you for accepting me into your forum

Welcome to GWE BushStroker
You will have good luck with autos, as long as you got good soil, I know folks that grow them in FFOF soil, the whole 70-90day grow, without adding any nutrients, all they do is topdress with a couple of handfuls of more FFOF when an if they start turning a little yellow, an they grow beautiful plants with no extra nutrients.
Most folks on here that have troubles with autos come from their watering habits, like SoOrbudgal said, if your pots heavy don't water, when your pot is lite weight, then you water.
Most other problems I see are from ph out of whack or bugs.
They are really easy to grow, trust me on that part.
It might take you a time or two, but you will get it right, practice makes perfect, just don't overwater young seedlings, they can't breathe when they get to much water, at seedlings age.
Hang in there, you are gonna do fine.
I would suggest that you read as many of nebula tutorials as possible too.

I am growing in coco and perlite 50/50 mix in a make shift hydro system using soda bottles painted black lol. I knew I should have gone with soil but nope just had to try to make my own hydro system lol. I am gonna look into the FFOF soil cause am fixing to start more autos and I would really like a nice big plant as oppose to my current 3 inch flowering girl. Don't ask she stunted then went into flowering at 2 inches n it just reach 3 lmao, world smallest flowering plant.Last edited by BushStroker; 12-06-2020, 11:54 AM.
