how many leaves should be trimmed during the flowering stage last few weeks?

curious to know what other growers trim during the flower stage

I defoliate pretty heavy prior to flower then remove all the big fan leaves again week 3. After that I don’t remove anymore leaves unless they die off. Makes sense to me bc a plant needs the leaves to grow the flowers but some growers seem to keep their leaves fairly thinned out with great results as well. May come down to how much time do you want to spend in your tent

I'm still experimenting with exactly whats best to trim at different phases of the plants life but in late flower I only remove whats dying off.

On the last few weeks i just remove the really dead curly brown/yellow leaf. But within a few days of harvest i'm now removing all large fan and second smaller leaf just to save me trim time.

By late flower I've already done all the major thinning. Then it's just fans that are shading buds or heavily yellowing.
