    DWC, 1st time grower

    Hello to all,
Just looking for some friendly advise, please and thank you.
    I have a 3x6 closet, six 5 gallon buckets.
My 2 biggest concerns: (light and oxygen)
-Is the Kuarez 1500 LED enough light? I do have a 4 head gooseneck full spectrum LED to supplement any blind spots.
-Is the Tetra Whisper 100 gallon enough?
I know nothing is concrete, and we all live on the bell curve...
    Gracias, in advance!

I know nothing about hydro. I looked up your light, they say it’ll flower 2.5x2.5’ and from all the other 150w led I’ve researched I think that might be pushing it. Not sure what you’re talking about with the supplemental lighting.

Howdy jmscooby, I'm currently on my tenth DWC grow (2 10 gallon 'Bubblephonics' style reservoirs). I am using 220 watts of CFL bulbs (half at 2700° K and the other half at 5000° K) for each reservoir. The rule of thumb that I have seen before is 110 watts per plant, although I have had as many as four plants grow well with only the 220 watts. The best advice that I can give You is, keep the water temperature between 64° F and 70° F, keep the water well aerated, block out all possible light leaks into the reservoirs, and change out the nutrient mix every week and top off the reservoirs with plain pH ed water as needed at mid week.

I originally thought of 6 doing buckets in a 3 x 6 area then thought of the hassle it would be doing reservoir changes to the 3 in the back. I do DWC 3 totes in the 3 x 6 area each has it's own 127 gph air pump with 2 or 4 air stones depending on if it's a 10 or 18 gallon tote. And from a previous post if the light cover 2.5 x 2.5 you would need 2 minimum to get close to covering the 6 foot spread. The more you think ahead the more you'll save in the end. I bet most growers will agree with that last statement including me.

            Thanks, again!
As a first timer, my reasoning was to gain 6 times the experience quickly, as I accepted the potential loss. I have the second light, now my temp is getting high. I'm getting by with the door cracked. I have an exhaust fan and ducting on order and should be ready for the flowering stage, as I can't keep the door cracked forever.
It is fascinating to see the tendencies of the strains. Northern Lights is aggressive and shoots right up. Amnesia Fast coils inside the rapid rooter, like a snake.
