    Sealed lights in the winter

Question? Will my sealed 1000 watt hps lights get to hot if my exhaust fan isn't running as much because of the cooler temps in the basement and lower humidity? I have 1 6" ac infinity exhaust fan and 1 6" ac infinity inlet fan and if I set them to kick on and off with certain temperatures or humidity they don't run that often but if I just run them all the time even at a lower setting then it stays to cool in the room. If I run a space heater it can never keep up because of the cooler air getting brought in constantly. Grrr what to do? Is 70°, too low for what would be considered daytime temps for my plants all Berry white btw. They seem to like upper 70s lower 80s any other time so I'm not sure.

Can you take the glass off? 70 is low but not horrible

Same issue. I got a clamp light attached to CFL i use it in the tent for extra heat source. I swaped out a chicken heat lamp for the CFL

My apologies just now able to get back to this Yes I can take the glass off I guess I never thought about that lol It runs enough to Cool it down but I'm sure there's times when it gets really hot and is probably not good for the setup. Honestly this round the plants seem a lot happier they're a lot greener and perkier The leaves are bigger like they enjoy the space they're in. I guess I was worried thinking 70 was too low. I will try that tonight see how it goes. I'm guessing that I would have to put my charcoal filter on the outside of the room at the end of the duct work so it blows through it since the glass will be off but I'm sure it will work fine like that. Thanks a lot for the advice
