    Deciphering mold

Hey y’all! I feel dumb for asking but I really need some help. I bought a black light to try to find mold on any buds. The thing is, when I shine the light on the buds there’s nothing that stands out as abnormal. How will I be able to tell or distinguish mold ? Any pictures you have would be appreciated!

Afternoon from Oregon Reighreigh you ain't dumb. Are these buds harvested and curing in jars? How old are these buds? Mold i've seen and had looks gray fuzzy then will turn brown and really dry looks like bud rot. Well if you could post a closeup of suspected mold bud would really be great.

Dr. Google says mold glows yellow-green under black light so I’m guessing if you get no glow then you have little to no mold.

I use a black light flashlight for wpm. To me it looks bright white. Very similar to frosty tricomes. Over time you'll get the hang of it.
Do yourself a favor. Only use it on your plants and tent. Don't check out your household furniture or bathrooms..... you'll never go back into your house again.. lol You've been warned. 😁

😅 we submitted some for testing today hoping that the whole batch wasn’t ruined. Fingers crossed! I hope I get better with it over time bc right now I can’t tell what I’m looking at. Mostly everything shines! I hope that’s not a bad sign.
        Thanks!
