A Deep Dive into Commercial Growing

Thanks to JohnEmad I stumbled onto one of the serious publications servicing the commercial cannabis growers and learned a lot.

There is an issue of Grow Magazine available free online at the link below and if you are interested in what it takes these days to make a living growing weed, take a look.

I was particularly interested in the article on A Vant Garden which starts on page 58 of this 160 page beast. The Table of Contents is on pages 12-14

The Bud Porn pics alone are worth a visit!

My goal is epicurean quality rather than high yield.
I'm learning how to create cannabis tinctures and hashish and I almost always use a vaporizer to spare my aging lungs.
Despite my avatar name I'm generally amenable and helpful. So, if there's a question I'm qualified to answer, hit me up!

grouchyoldman thx for sharing. I read most of the articles. Who knew that drip irrigation systems were developed in the 1860's and have only begun to be improved upon. But, Words to Live By is the piece that really got my attention. So, no more 'strains' for me, it's now properly 'cultivar', and my rudimentary understanding of the terms Indica and Sativa has also been challenged.

Too funny! Page 21 has an ad for my brother's company. I use and he analyzes. Now if he weren't 3,000 miles away...Actually I did get to use one a year ago (pre-covid) and it is fast and doesn't destroy the sample. I know the price is way beyond me.
