    Unsure of when to Harvest.

So we are on day 42 of flower for our Girl Scout Cookies (fem). Since these are our very first grow, we are having a difficult time to see if they are, in fact, at the optimal time for harvesting.

The trichomes appear to be milky opaque with the Pistils turning brown, which, growing tips said is what you want, right? After taking some HD pictures, I noticed a couple of brown specks, probably from the Trics turning amber - but it's not significant numbers yet.

We are concerned with the bud sites being too small to harvest. Could anyone with more experienced eyes look and see what they think? Should we harvest now or wait a little longer?

We've had to adjust the color balance a lot to cut out some of the violet light, these are the best images we could get.

Easily a few weeks. Take it slow, they will be ready before you know it. Keep a close eye on them and give them what they need. Strong lights, clean PHed water, good nutrition, fresh air. I like to talk with mine.

Hello from Oregon i'm growing the same strain and about same flowering time i'm 44days into flower with these photo fems. GSC my buds are small size of cotton ball not got long colas just short ones with those small buds. Can't say for sure as i took these as clones from outdoor mom's this summer. I only let them veg 6wks then flipped them so maybe that's why i don't know. No issues with the grow other than low humidity? I keep checking the trichs for mine look ready no more white hairs at all but do have cloudy trichs. These are just ripening quicker than what the seed does. Hang in there

Thank you for your replies, all!

So the general consensus is to leave them alone for a couple more weeks, then?
