    Jars vs. bags

Why should you use jars & not bags when curing?

Jars seal better and don’t let oxygen in like bags do, you can use turkey bags or bags for vacuum sealing but regular ziplocks allow a lot of gas exchange. I use buckets with gamma seal

DaisyMay87 I don't like the trichomes sticking on the plastic bags due to static electricity.

I agreed. Not only storing in jars but also in a dark and cool area.

Howdy DaisyMay87, I agree with 9fingerleafs, as well as the 02 exchange, the moisture level can be controlled better in glass containers. most all 'plastics' (hydrocarbon polymers) are porous their structure, that is why reverse osmosis films work, the structure of the polymer only allowing only water molecules to pass thru. Glass containers do not allow much of anything to pass thru, except light.
