need input regarding Nature's living soil

    Hello,
I am considering my next grow and am planning to do something close to Nebula's recommendation of Natures Living Soil (NLS) and coco loco, using the super soil approach.
I see in her tutorial it indicates to use 1 pound of NLS for each gallon of the container. I am using 5 gallon plastic air pots. This would seem to mean to mix 5 pounds of NLS with 1/3 of the coco loco for the bottom layer. My problem is that NLS website states to use 3.2 ounces per gallon of container. This would only be 1 pound for the same 5 gallon container. This is a big difference of 5 pounds versus 1 pound of the NLS. I don't like to bother Nebula with these type of questions, so can anyone here offer some input based on experience?
Any other advice regarding using NLS with coco loco is also appreciated.
    Thanks, Dave

I been researching living soils for my upcoming, I went back to NLS for a refresher. It says for super soil technique use 3.2 oz of nls amendment for each gallon of the containers and use one third amended soil in the bottom and fill top two thirds with plain potting soil. So the way I read it is 16oz of nls amendment into 1.65 gal of soil finish filling with plain soil in 5 gal pot. It’s a little confusing when they’re telling you to amend one third of container but telling you to base the amount on total containers size.

edit: I went to GWE and the info I found on there says 1lb to a 5gal pot.....so it jives up with the nls website.

      Hi Xena,
Thanks for your input. Yes I read the same things you have stated; however, in another part of Nebula's tutorial she states to use 1 pound per gallon of container size and this was the part that had me concerned. I guess we can try the 1 pound per 5 gallon container strength and watch it closely.
