    HYDRO Timing a harvest

    Hi everyone!

I'm closing out week 8 of a Bomb Seeds Cherry Bomb auto grow. This is my first grow and these plants were stunted by some health problems (shout out to DW2, among others, for helping me remedy them). I was hoping to cut them down in 1-2 weeks so they could dry over Thanksgiving and be cured or close to it by Christmas (I'd like to gift some to my dad if it turns out to be any good). I know not to harvest at least until all the trichomes are milky, right now they're all still clear, I'd just like to know if it's foolish to plan on having it for Christmas!

I’m a first timer too but looking at yours compared to mine I don’t think your time is right. I plan on the approx. turkey day chop and hope for Christmas Day smoke and I think I’m 2 or 3 weeks ahead of you.

That's what I was afraid of. Are yours autoflowering? I've read that autos go faster than photos but I'm not sure if it's THAT radical of a difference.

All grows are different don't compare too much to others. You will learn what ripeness is as you continue to grow. Whenever there are issues with plants health add 1-2wks to the grow. Your buds look at least a month away on that bigger one. It may feel like a photo grow beings they got stalled but they will finish but not as soon as you would like.

SoOrbudgal I might have been misunderstood, I was only comparing the way his buds looked compared to mine for ripeness
