After a successful first try, with hash oil production, I have stumbled. I used 150 proof Everclear for the first batch, 190 proof for my latest effort.
While I remain convinced that solar cooking is great for producing hash oil, there is at least one caveat.
I left the concoction in probably too long. The temperature remained at or below 200 degrees F. I now have an extremely thin layer of cannabis remains baked on my baking pan. I tossed the pan in my deep freeze, thinking I will see if condensation will help release it from the pan. I would also like to figure out how to fashion bits of it into ready-made chick pea sized pellets.
Will I be succesful? Who knows! I have been fascinated with @Farmbucks contributions, regarding hash. This is my way of giving back, even if it shows my goofs.
Keep your fingers crossed boys and girls - I either have some of the most potent hash ever made or utter garbage.
