I'm thinking of building or buying some kind of light diffuser/vent to plug into the vent space on my tent. I have a 6" fan and use passive air exchange. There's nothing wrong with the short 6" duct that I'm using except my OCD has noticed that the nice clean lines of my tent are somehow off kilter. So, I've been on a mission to see if there is already something on the market I might try or do I just build it myself? Secret Jardin has a product that almost fits the bill, except I ain't cutting a hole in my Gorilla Grow tent to use it. What ya think?

Howdy golfnrl, I'm not sure that I understand what You mean by 'vent/light diffuser'. Are You wanting something to block out light leaks while allowing the air to flow into the tent? Tf that is what You want, You will most likely have to fabricate one to fit Your tent and space restrictions. A simple one can be made from cardboard and attached over the vent/exhaust hole in the tent. Make a long (3 to 4 times the diameter of the vent) with one end closed off. Paint the inside with a flat black paint, to cut down on reflected light, and attch to the tent with the closed end just covering the vent hole.Smoke weed,.....grow peace!

Thx @DW2...that's kinda what I was thinking...making it myself. I like your idea.

No problem. I do not use a tent (I converted a closet to use), but have seen lots of growers having problems with light leeks. One could also use some of the 'flex' tubing, but the inside would definitely need to be painted flat black because of the shinny Mylar (or what ever it is that they are made from),
