Howdy growell, Can You get the General Hydroponics lines in Your area? If You can, I would recommend the dry nutrient line MaxiGrow and MaxiBloom, they have worked well for me. To clarify, all nutrients must be soluble in water in order for the plants to take them up. Anything insoluble would be compost and/or worm castings and require 'live' soil with all of the microbes and nematodes to process the insoluble into soluble in order for the plants to absorb them.

I could be mistaken but I think growell was talking about the living soil amendments type of thing. Sorry I have no idea what is available to the UK I have seen several that say they only ship to North America.

Are you in coco or soil? The living soil method isn't as effective in coco and could be more effort than it is worth. Sorry, don't know who distributes over there, but I can ask a few friends and see if they have suggestions.

My personal experience with dry amendments has been mixed. For outdoors, long use soil, I love them and building the soil and creating the soil food web. But indoors, in a container for 90 days, it can be tricky to get the ingredients active at the right time if they are slow release. I've also had the experience where the dry amendments didn't dissolve very well in water and that formed a crust layer of hydrophobic soil. Indoors, I prefer my bottles, outdoors, I'm using as much of nature as I can.

I've used a lot of the Fox Farm products. They are pretty reliable about the ingredients they use and the results, provided everything is in balance. Open sesame will be best for the early flower phase, it still has a little nitrogen in it. The Beastie Bloom has no nitrogen, so that I would likely use for mid flower to flush. The Chi Ching is similar to the Sesame, it has a little more nitrogen, not exactly sure where I would fit this in, it almost could be used at the same stage, but don't use the two together. Cal / mag is something I always use. Seaweed would be great in veg to promote root growth and the molasses feeds sugars to the soil microbes that then have energy to work on converting nutrients into a plant available form.

Just the basics. Nothing out of the ordinary. Silica, NPK, cal/mag. Molasses in the last 3 weeks of flowering.

I started with the FF powders. After a few grows I went to their liquid line. Total game changer in yields. Huge boost.
