I will definitely be watching to see which Breeder's Cup race she goes to. Mostly just to see em run but if I can get good odds i might put a little bit on her.

I haven't been to a track in yrs either. Portland Meadows has such a short season- when they run at all & Emerald Downs is a helluva drive. I do watch TVG now n then & they run $2 trifectas across the screen so I imagine there are still 1 & $2 windows. A weekend with the ponies sounds long overdue!

JDU those are good odds do they still have $2 betting? I've not gone to a casino for long time they do have off track betting there i just don't know about the cost any more of placing a bet. We use to go to a track and watch them run when i was a young.

Swiss Skydiver won the Preakness Stakes. She beat the Kentucky Derby winner, Authentic in a hard pressed stretch run to become only the 6th filly in history to win the race & the 2nd in 80+yrs to do it. Just as impressive is that her time was only a quarter of a second from beating the record held by Secretariat.
My daughters already know about "Fight like a girl & Girl power lol.... I opened the tents wide & turned the TV stand & had the plants listen hahaha. Those girls.

Damn that was one helluva race!! I replayed it for my girls to watch n listen & told em that they could do even better....

But a BIG congratulations to Swiss Skydiver & her connections!!! Only the 2nd Filly to win the Preakness in 100yrs & she did it in 1min 53.28 seconds!!!! That's only .28 seconds off Secretariat's record!!!!!!
