Hi all. My plants have been budding for over a month now and have recently started to show a deep purple in the leaves. Could this be the strain or is this a nutrient issue, or something else?? Thanks for the help!

Cold temps will bring out the darker colors. The two leaves in the pic that are yellow in the center with dark purple edges could be sign of a ph issue. Last time I had a plant do that it was due to lockout. I initially brushed it off thinking it was just the cold bringing out the colors, then I realized the plant had stopped growing and the buds were staying the same size

It can be both the strain and environmental factors. Usually it is a cold swing of more than 10 degrees between day and night temps. Also, lack of phosphorus can cause some purple as well. The plants are looking a little nutrient deficient but they also look like the perfect flush. If you are more than three weeks from harvest, maybe hit them with an NPK ratio that is higher on the P & K to finish off the cycle. If less than three weeks, might as well let them fade out naturally.
