Bringing plants indoors before a frost

    Hi,
I have plants in containers outside. We are having 3 nights of heavy frost so I brought the plants inside. When I leave for work it will still be too cold for the plants to be outside.
my question is : will the plants be ok in my basement for 3 days and nights ? I have lights and will obviously water them.
This is my first time growing these. I had hoped they’d be harvested before the first frost!
    Thanks for any advice!

Indeed, keep them on the same light cycle, so give them 12 hours of dark when they normally got it from outdoors. DO make sure that the plants are in a lightproof place, no light leaks. That can cause problems, but it sounds like you are getting close to harvest anyhow.
