    Sun vs led

I have a small auto that is just starting to flower. Soil, 3 gal smart pot. The temperature and humidity have just started to get to a decent place. My question is do you guys think it would be worth while to set her out on my deck in the sun during the day? If yes, should I wait until I have direct sun or any sun light is better than artificial light?

If you intend to grow them through bud outdoors, then yes, start hardening them off with a few hours each day. Start with indirect sunlight and then work your way to full sun.

If you intend to flower it indoors, you might get some quicker growth from this but they will be disappointed when it comes to the intensity of light from the LED in flower. I wouldn't switch up the intensities, this can sometimes cause a delay or adjustment period from the plants.

I intended to only set it out in the sun during the days that were suitable. The majority of the time she would still be in my tent.

I wouldnt just because i wouldnt want to bring pests into my indoor grows. I dont think it will help anything if but you do put the plant at risk for more pests to attack it.

Ace, you nailed it. I was thinking this and you typed it. Another great reason (and probably the best) for not doing this.

Indeed. My kid brought in some fresh basil from his girlfriend's garden and I muffled a small cry of horror. And then pretending to admire it, I searched it up and down for bugs and bug damage. There are 3 doors between the living space - better than the USCSS Nostromo - and the tents, and I'm still nervous, lol.
Now that Mom's growing weed, she can't be telling the paying roommates not to bring in the herbs they want to cook with other than pot, lol. "Sorry, you can only bring in dried oregano from now on."

I set my plants out to take advantage of natural light on my 18/6 schedule. The key is healthy plants and a healthy yard. As a botanist at the local botanical gardens told me, pests are like bullies and attack the weak. I have never transferred anything of consequence inside.
