Does a 1000w LED fixture maintain it's efficacy values if dimmed down to 600w and lowered to be closer to plants? Thoughts?

Not sure about how much foot print it will have. I know mine pulls 750w from wall and covers 4x4 perfectly. Getting an electronic controller for dimming. I plan to run at around 300 to 400 from wall for veg and will give the plants everything they can take plus keeping environment level suitable in flower.Comment
