Unusual "pest" problem

I have a "pest" problem developing that I have not seen addressed here. Not really bugs, but pine trees near the grow. They are now shedding needles and little flakes of what ever as they usually do this time of year. These little flakes of pine tree are starting to stick to the resin in the buds and are not easily dislodged by shaking or blowing gentle compressed air on them. This needs to be removed before processing. Besides the painfully obvious- pick them out one by one, any ideas on removing this contamination?
 
I used the washing method on a C-4 I harvested last week. It's in the cure jars now without any troubles. I have a Wedding Cake ready to come down that I found some caterpillar poop on today and will wash it too. Washing seems to remove a lot of crud pretty well without any apparent issues.
 
I had some plants under a maple tree, and had the same type of thing happening. I washed branches in a 10% peroxide solution, (5 minute soak) then rinsed with plain water before trimming.
i was mostly doing this to remove any spider mites/eggs/excrement that may have been remaining In the buds. It did remove most of the maple tree fall out though at the same time.
The resin on pine tree debris might not separate as well as maple debris , but it’s worth a shot! You’ll know really quick :)
 
10% peroxide, where do you get that?
It is not so much the pine tree resin, but the bud resin.
 
I just watched that video. Really interesting process. From my POV, not knowing the affecta of washing, I'd think the trichomes would wash right off. Could the buds be more prone to bud rot as well? Nonetheless, this seems like a great idea for external debris and bugs!
