    led lights

has anyone got or had a look at bava 480 watt leds any help would great thanks struggling but this light got uv and far red switches stuff i havent seen on other lights so thanks guys

I've just had a quick look at that bava 480. It doesn't tell the output from wall but I'm guessing by the name it's 480w. The light has 1104 leds. With that many leds the output of each would be less than 0.5w per led at least that's my understanding of how it works. Might be something to consider.

I could be wrong I'm no expert. But that is honestly what I would think. I'm a believer that you get what you pay for. I went with kind leds and I dont regret it.

The diode describes the wrong one. It would need to be an H for horticulture. Not really ment for plants.

When lloking at the bava website there are a few different variations on models some have the 301h others the 301b leds.

Still non the wiser i know u get what u pay for i have about £350 to spend about the h in diodes i seen all sorts of letters after them its crazy so do go with samsung diodes and the best numbers on the square map plus the wattage out of wall does that mean how much electric costs cause i not bothered about that so if u had my money usmcnovicemedical what light would u buy mate thanks everyone for your help up tp now if u have ideas on lights u would buy let me know thanks again

I would save my money honestly. Look into Hlg, growers choice, electric sky, kind. Those are honestly the only lights I would spend my money on. I went cheap once with advanced led and they just sit in a closet now.

Yes best numbers on square map.ppfd is the chart of photo synthetic light so as it drops so will the plant growth rate

Most of the letters and numbers you mention are wavelengths of light from white red ir uv and so on watts is the only thing that determines electricity.

I dont know much about the light other than what I was able find just now. After looking agian I see it does have ones with the H. If you get one make sure it has that. I sure it would work I am just one of those people who has to try and get the best or so my wife tells me.

A good bottom line for LED shopping is how much PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) it generates and what kind of coverage area you're getting per watt. The best full-spectrum lights cover infrared and ultraviolet freqs as well as visible light. UVA and UVB seem to help with potency and sometimes color.
