I'm using a 2000w philizon and a 600w lumina in a 2.4 by 1.2 with nine plants. I've got two tents both with the same kit and plants been vegin since the 5th just not happy with the growth . Are my lights any good lol ?

Led numbers are often misleading. I looked at philizon site and without knowing an exact model, the 2000w that I saw on there was 450w actual. I don’t really understand the 2000 being 450, my 1000w is actually 150. I know that it’s supposed to be the equivalent but I don’t think it is. I didn’t see anything on philizon but I didn’t explore totally, marshydro has a chart on all their lights showing the coverage when flowering. Check reviews and see what other users think.

I cant comment on your light itself. But since I switched from my old led ( covert ufo 150) to my new one ( Spectrum King sk402) my growth has exploded. Mine are up over 38". Does the manufacturer provide par readings on your light?

Yeah my book says at 24 inch the par is 884 there's veg and bloom but I've got both switched on

Since there's no standards for LED's here's a thumbnail guide for distance from the plants. But remember that actual wattage from the wall is the most important measurement. And the manufacturer should give some guidance.

W = Total Power from the wall

      under 200w at least 12", 200-300W at least 18", 300w+ at least 24-30"

But, also remember there's nothing like watching your plants for stretch and light burn and adjusting accordingly.

Photo Tent: Gorilla 4x4x7'11" HLG Scorpion R, Infinity 6” w/Carbon Filter, Coco 50/50 perlite, Autopot system: 2 Purple Haze/Malawi & 2 Malawi 100% Sativa Ace seeds

I got a cheap lux meter on Amazon that I use to adjust my light height. I know it’s not as accurate as a par meter but it provides a reference at a much more affordable price. Using a 450W LED that draws 200W and I try to keep the highest intensity at 70k lux during veg and 85k lux during flower. I will probably be adding another light after this harvest after noticing a huge drop off in lux outside the highest intensity zone. Anyways, maybe this will help as LEDs are so inconsistent.

Check this site to understand HID equivalency and other led things. http://stonerpros.com/led-grow-light...e%20near%207x.

Lux is not appropriate to measure LED. You need a PAR reader to accurately read LED's. LED's work great and produce some frosty buds but the way they market it is incredibly misleading most of the time. Always look for actual wattage. One tell tale sign is the price of the led's. If you see a 1000w for less than $100 then it is definitely not going to be equivalent to a 1000w HPS or they would charge more.
