So I started GG in water for 2 days then planted it. It sprouted. I've just watered once with ph'd water.
I planted west coast OG auto but it never sprouted. Fuck!
So I'm going to germinate my freebies. 3 auto somango
light is on 18/6 right now. I'm using my closet because my tent is finishing up BlackBerry auto, stardawg auto, & auto amnesia. Soon as they are done the gorilla glue will go in the tent under the mars hydro ts1000.
I'll keep updating. This is my 5th grow and I'm trying to make a grow log.

I always have issues with watering when they are sprouts. Like to much. I'm going to really get this shit down. Just put 3 auto somango seeds in water yesterday. Hopefully they germinate.

Hey when Im watering seedlings in a 3gal pot I dont want any runoff do I? It wouldnt be able to take that much water. I always fuck up early and finish mediocre weight, but dank quality. I want a close to perfect grow as I can get. So I'm trying to find where I foul up. Got a ph pen now so that should help. Plus I'm using 1/2-1/4 recommended nutes.
has anyone used meigs fertilizers?
any advice?

Good start - not familiar with the nutes you are using - I use Green Planet nutes and give it to my plants at full strength - starting when they are seedlings.

I water to runoff when they are that tiny so the plant knows how big their home is.

You run off every time? How often should I water the seedling. I mean it doesn't dry up to fast.

When they first come up I water about about a cup a day - 3 days later I'll wster to runoff - encourages root development - next and every watering is to runoff - with full strength nutes.

Here is update. I started LST but maybe a week early. I'll manage it. Been trying to germinate auto somango and it's not panning out. Got a lemon cookies germinating right now.
I have 5 zkittles auto & 5 critical purple auto on the way +freebies
another 2x4 tent & 10 4gal fabric pots on the way.

Dang HobbitGDF sounds like you are hooked on growing now LOL. It's a fun hobby with great benefits as you know or will know. Starting off is confusing but each of us found a nitch with their growing habits so you will fall into line with what works best for you. I got the photo version of zkittles not started yet but looking forward to them down the line. Hey best of luck and keep us posted. BTW your LST looks good see that big 3 finger leaf sitting right on top with purple stem one of these days soon clip that off and watch them side shoots grow How much you watering right now?

Havent watered but 2x really. The second time I had 15-20% runoff. I used the whole gallon this time.The runoff was 4.6ph . The water going in was 6.75. I even used little extra water trying to get it up but nothing worked. It's still doing ok. Idk.
I'll take that leaf off.
Can u guys tell me what's best way to get seeds to sprout. Germinate first or straight to soil?
Yeah I'm in love with growing. I got hooked on learning mycology. Now I'm on to this.
This is very rewarding. I want a low temp press now. Got some bubble bags to try out also

Ok here is update
day 18
I've been LST still. I gave it week 3 nutrients already when I should of gave it water. I also think I have signs of overwatering. Ph runoff was 5.25, I've tried raising it. Nutes was 6.95ph gave the whole gallon. I started to see tiny rust spots on the 3leaf. That's why I gave it week 3s nutes. Was that wrong? Maybe because the ph in soil is low. Should of just gave plain ph water.

Ok fam. Here is update on my GG auto. I also planted 5 zkittlez auto. I have both my lights in the tent but only using one until I have more plants up.
I want to keep the amount of tops it has now. I only want like 6 colas.
when is good time to defoliate autos?
I havent gave it week 4 nutes yet. It's not drying up very fast. I figured plant would drink more at this point.

Now is a good time to defoliate - before pistils appear - cuz pistils aren't far behind.
I would take off a few of those bigger leaves that are almost on the soil - leaves on top I would leave.

Hey I havent watered her in 10 days. It still seems moist. Should I just let her chill or give her some water w/ nutes for week 4? I also defoliated a little. Thanks for the advice Canuck147

Okay here's update....

On 9/23 I defoliated alot of small nodes, only wanting 7 main tops.

9/24 first signs of flowering & I hooked up my new refurbished HLG 550 v2 rspec. Impressive light.

9/27 day 35 week 5 first time getting flowering nutes
less than recommended. I really like meigs fertilizer. Organic. Ph 6.98 going in and 5.50 coming out.
The PH runoff is always low. Like in the 4. And 5. I always ph my water to 6.8-7. No signs of nute burn or deficiency.

The leaves edges are curled up. Maybe from over watering or heat(77-81°f) or light (new light) stress. Idk. I also add hydrogaurd to every watering.
mushroom monotub in the tent for extra Co2, if it even matters due to the tent having vent on bottom open.

Today I watered all the zkittlez and the ph in was 7.10. Runoff on all of them is 5.35. All my FFHF mix FFSF pots are always having runoff in the 4.5-5.8ph
should I worry about it? Should I water at an 8 or something?

everything is going well. I fixed the PH issue I think. She looks way better. I just hope they fill in thick and dense.

Still have the sick issue. Its continuing onto the sugar leaves a little. I ran 3 gallons of water thru her about 7.1-7.4 or something and runoff stays 5-6
so I'm trying to follow advise and just keep watering her good ph water 6.5 and give good nutes with little runoff.
She is slowly filling in. I'm afraid it's going way to slow due to my dumbass. Idk.
The rest the tent is great. Started cream auto.
