Just wondering if anyone had experience with a technique called stem splitting?

Not sure what it's called, hopefully we're talking about the same thing! Just did it to my veggers a week or so ago on half of a plant first, twisting one way the branch until I hear a cracking sound. Within a couple days the twisted branches were showing more aggressive growth above the twist than the others. No denying it. Went ahead and did it to all 3 veggers. Now I can't bend the tips fast enough to keep them away from the t5!!! And the knuckle collection on those stems is pretty cool. The lady on the foreground is a big dirty, as naughty as the name implies, seed sprouted on 9/21. Due to space constraint and cloning she's had a couple haircuts already but the twisting really kicked in another gear.2 Photosx1 LED Cirrus T5 500w, x3 Sun System LEC315, x1 Nanolux LEC315, Saturn 5 controller, x4 6" can vents, 8800 btu A/C, 70 pint dehumidifier

That's supercroping stem splitting is to cut an inch or so into the middle of a base of a cola with a knife, with the top and bottom of the cut bound with string or a tie so the damage doesn't spread. Then you replace the knife with a pencil or chopstick to disrupt the flow of nutes up the branch stressing out more trichromes. At least in theory I'm going to experiment with my next grow on this

Thanks! Cool idea. Kinda looks like creating a secondary highway for nutrients flow. Will do more thinking and reading on it but I might try it on one of my girls due in a couple weeks. Only danger I could see is opening the plants for pests and rot but that close to harvest it won't matter. Thanks for sharing

Seen it and know you need to ensure you zap strap below and above incision. I am going to try on one of my plants but I am 6 weeks or so away.
