Aphids found on leaves and ready to harvest

I am growing a blueberry 420 and it is ready to be harvested. I cut a branch off to dry. I was cutting off the bigger leaves from the buds when I discovered, what looks to be aphids, on some of the leaves. They are not a lot, but there seems to be a couple of them On many of the leaves on the entire plant. HELP! I am not sure how to proceed other than to harvest whole plant and do a wet trimming of leaves. Any advice will be appreciated.

As I wet trim leaves off, I think the plant is starting to make seeds. It is an outdoor grown plant. I am glad I’m harvesting but I still not sure best approach at this point to address the aphids.

In my outdoor grows i do what i can when they the plants are alive checking daily. When i harvest i cut like your doing and before i bring them indoors where i do majority of wet trim i'll give them a good shake. Those are just the pitfalls of outdoor buds for me. I do not wash them some folks will tell you to do so, something is always going to be there unless your in a sterile grow environment in my thoughts. Sorry i guess not much help.

SoOrbudgal, you are very much helpful that I don’t need to fret over it. It is what it is. I will need to be more watchful in the future. Would you use the leaves with the aphids on them? Regards

Are you thinking decarb and making butter? Then i would fill the sink and wash the leaf like lettuce. Hmm i wonder of a lemon spritzer would be detrimental treatment on buds with bugs? I mean after it's down?

I washed trimmings and then spun in salad spinner. I then did a quick dry in a food dehydrator and then put in oven at 250 F for 40 minutes. Sitting in canning jar now till I have time to do something with. Thanks for your suggestions. I had an after thought how I could have used strong stream of water From garden hose to knock the aphids off leaves before I harvested. Oh well, all is good.

All my 16 outside plants have bugs. And i really don’t care. As long the plant is not suffering, I let them be.
or as long it’s not spider mites.
My experience it’s hard to keep them 100% free for bugs outside.
Just because people are over 50 doesn’t mean they know everything.
You can teach a old dog new tricks - But it will still think the old ways are the “best” lol
