I nute-watered plants early this morning, made a gallon for each, pH was 6.6-6.7 going in. They weren't draining yet, I had to leave soon. I had one more gallon of de-chlorinated water nearby that I pH'd to 6.5 and divided it among the three. Tested drainage on two, it was 6.5x. My tower fan died. Nephew is going to help tmrw afternoon to remove the screwed-in shelf and drill holes in the pot rims. I could use each shelf bracket next to the walls for clip-on fans. My GH trio won't be here for 6-7 days. I have CalMag, fish emulsion and Flower Fuel here. What would you suggest feeding while waiting on the GH, after I go 12/12 this weekend? TYSM!

I ordered the GH trio, and a thick, black, long shower curtain to hang over the closet door light cracks. Where I cut the plant tops and hand bent, for now, are those new shoots on top good to use for clones? I want to put clones in the Aero-Garden to start, the seeds germinated well in it. Thanks!

Thank you. I'm open to feeding suggestions. I wait until things are needed because of Prime delivery. That was saved on my wishlist but I've never bought GH products before, just word of mouth, and everything evolves. What do you use? Sorry, I just got home, hopped on the laptop or I'd go looking for the answer to that question.

I don't see any pre flower but once you flip to 12/12 it will be evident quick like Mr.furley said. If that's the bloom food you want to use order it and take it easy good luck at Dr. appt.

Thank you. Should I order GH Bloom now? Do you think I'll need a quart or larger? Here is a close up yesterday, any pre-flowers? After a dr appt today I'll have a day for the plants.1 Photo

I would remove the shelf as you are going to still fill the closest and don't want to block the light when the lights go higher, the one in the corner is probably ok to stay,. Temperature and humidity should be monitor at the top of the canopy, and tie to the second set of Nodes back from the tip of the branch.
It's time to flip your lights to 12/12 for flower, once you do that, do not disturb their dark cycle and start watching clothes for female preflower. At the age your plant are they should be showing already.

Hi, thanks. Busy w/post-storm issues. I fed them fully and they looked good. I've read the training links many times, I've hand-flattened/bent to see what I've got, more pliable than expected. The new rod and both LED panels are hung, need to adjust them, but, should I remove the bottom shelf, will it distort light when both panels are above the shelf? Should I remove the fluorescent fixtures standing in the R corner? I got the Twisty Ties, and I can use an ice pick to make holes in the pot lips (injured R hand/drill). I do not have an indoor garden shop, I get growing supplies from Amazon/prime, other than Epsom salt, fish emulsion and the like. Should I keep temp/RH gauge up on a shelf or low on the floor? Lastly, for now, where is the best spot to attach the ties, meaning I know not by the main stem but how far from it or how far from the tips? Depends on where I can anchor them, or nah? I understand the sticks thing. It's going to be like a puzzle with all 3 in there but I'm good at 'fitting' things in spaces. (weak photo, sorry, I have to use a step stool to reach above the plants now. I need to put supplies in a crate on the floor, try not to bump the panels much)2 PhotosLast edited by Puglover1; 08-18-2020, 01:14 AM.

Drill holes all around just below the pot rim and put a zip tie there to anchor to, a couple of sticks laying horizontal on top of the pot overhanging will give you reach, tie branches to branches.....
think of the blue line as a tabletop and you what to keep all the branches like the ones with the red line at that level, pull them down slowly, a little at a time, This will need to continue into flowering for a bit. Read up on super cropping
Get a summary of all the most common plant training techniques that growers use to increase their cannabis yields indoors!
Do you have a indoor gardening shop for nutrients supplies?
Your Leafs look a good color of green that I can see, some tips burn and I'm assuming this is on the upper part of the plant? I can see some pale , yellow, brown leaf, on the lower plant and I'm think that this is from the plant not getting light a common problem with bigger, tall plant and not enough light reaching it with all that leaf it had. Some of this can be a pH issue have you got any readings?
The plant will take any mobile nutrient it can from those leafs down low so for now don't remove any more leaf from the plants, you can do another defoliating in two weeks.Last edited by Mr.furley; 08-14-2020, 08:39 AM.

I switched the corner plants' location/corners. Pulled them out to get a good look at their sizes. I have to re-read the tips for tying down. Two of the plants have stronger stems than the third one. I know there's more material to remove but I want to get started on training. I bought coated wire and the green adjustable zip-ties. Accepting advise on best way to proceed, while I read. Correct lcut just the main stem, leave the side branches, you can take them later if need just find a way to start to get them horizontal into open space. You have 10 sqft of light footprint and a good rule of thumb is 50 to 70 watts per sqft. So the extar light will work well as long as you keep the canopy from getting out of hand.
Untill you get a idea of the Ph let's just remove that lower Leaf only not the lower branches if they are reaching the mid to upper section below the red line, small one yes. Feel free the remove sick looking leaf, it will tell you later if the plant getting better or worse.
Your doing great and this is going to be worth the time you have invested.

If it was my plant I wouldn't flip to 12/12 for two weeks.
There is no doubt from looking at your pictures and what you are telling me you do not have the vertical space for the plants to double or even triple in size and they will!
Adding a second light to your grow from the pictures (I still don't know the size of the box? Sqft) will definitely increase your yield in the end and I highly recommend this.
If it was my plant I would top them on the main steam about half way down, cutting your plants back will give you the room you are lacking, options for training you don't have right now and waiting to flip two weeks will give you time to get the new light, fix the sick plants(you should never flower a plant that is having problems) and for them to recover from the topping.
Truthfully the plants should have been flip to flower after 6 to 8 weeks from germination and have been allowed to veg to long for the space and lighting you have. By cutting them back and adding a light you can save the outgrowing headache you're facing and create a flat canopy with room to stretch for flowering. I'll post a picture below of where I'd top the main stem.
How about we talk about the leaf discoloration.
What size pots do you have and what is your pH of the water you give them?
At this age in veg you should have preflower for sexing your plants, have you looked?Last edited by Mr.furley; 08-06-2020, 01:10 AM.
