    SOIL First grow, harvest

    Hey guys!

I harvested my 66 days old Northern Lights auto today.
I’m hang drying her in my grow-tent with one carbon filter/fan, one intake fan, and one small circulating fan in the bottom of the tent (no air is blowing directly at the buds).

Do you guys think the temperature is too high and will damage my end product? (23-24 degrees Celsius)

And do you think I harvested her in good time, or was it a bit too early? All of the thricomes on her buds are milky white, and plenty of amber thricomes on most of the sugar leaves.

I will put up some pictures of the full life circle once she’s dried and cured for 2 weeks.

Wonderful day for you and great looking buds As long as you have airflow or breeze i try and keep it below 50% check the stems after few days bend them if they snap but don't break apart like a dried stick then your OK. When humidity like right now is a issue with real sticky resin bud i will cut them off and place in plan paper brown grocery bag for a day or two. That's what i do and it's hot and humid at our place also, i'm burping jars right now checking the cure. Stay on top of it, and man enjoy that harvest good for you.

Wonderful day indeed, really excited to smoke the end product.😄 I cut basically all fan leaves, and most of the stems, just so it wouldn’t hold the moist for too long when it’s a bit too humid environment. I’ll stay on top of the bending to make sure not to over dry it.
Thank you, hopefully she smokes as good as she looks 😊 Good luck with your curing, hope they end up perfect!

Looks good Ganjaman420...those are some great pics. Harvest day is somewhat bittersweet. Say good-by to the girls but, dang, look what they leave behind. I'm still trying to dial in when to harvest. I think I like a little more amber trichs, as opposed to less, but I'm not sure. I do know that it is fun trying to find out. Let us know how the smoke goes.

      Thank you!
Hehe, it’s bittersweet indeed, really exciting though. Can’t wait to start my next grow, let alone smoke the buds from this grow!😄 I think I will go for 5-20% amber (on the buds) next time, just to see the difference (even though it will be a different strain).
Thinking of either LSD-25 auto, or Gorilla cookies auto, both from 2fast4buds, you guys have any experience with either?
This Northern lights was from royalqueenseeds.

      Edit: Leaning towards the LSD-25

Been a little colder out today which showed in the tent, let’s hope it stays this way until the buds are done drying (not often I wish for colder weather) . Also the rh dropped from 54%, guessing that’s because of the buds and stems getting rid of some of the moisture in them.

Edit: I turned off the small circulating fan, I read that excess wind will dry out the buds too quickly, I still have the intake (computer fan) and carbon filter/fan
