Can someone please confirm whether salted or unsalted butter is preferred for making cannabuter.

It depends on what you're planning on making. You'd want unsalted butter for cookies or brownies or sweets. Salted is better for savory preparations, imho.

I have used both did not make to much sense running for unsalted or salted I've found either will do just fine.
