Today I decided to get rid of the mutant plant as it is still growing taller but not budding. It has now solved my space issues so the rest of the tent will fill it in nicely. Every other plant is looking awesome and really starting to fatten up those buds now

Good job sir and it's hard to say good bye but sometimes it's for the best in this case for you.

Thanks So. I gave it as long as I could, but I think I’d have been still waiting in another 3 weeks time

I reckon these have doubled in size the last week or so. Pistils are turning amber. Getting close now 😋

First 2 pics are 2 of my little tiddlers, I've purposely grown these as solo cups otherwise my tent would be far too packed. The last one is 'the beast' The pics don't do her justice, she's just so beautiful and PHAT! My hand only goes half way around the colas! A couple of the smaller ones are still showing clear trics but everything else seems to be milky. I was hoping for end of month harvest but I'm thinking 2 ish weeks left. This will be my second real grow and I feel I've really got my set up and everything else really dialled in. The only thing I've changed this time around is that I took more bud sites and even some branches from lower down the plant during early flower in the hope that the plant focussed its energy into the main buds - seems like it's worked I've also left on pretty much all the fans after week 3 of flower, something I didn't do last grow as I didn't know the stopped producing after this. Always learning eh.
Anyway, hope you all like the bud porn. Now they just need to hurry up as I'm down to 2 1/2 jars of smoke.

I bought a second smaller tent today. Some of the smaller plants look to be ripening a bit faster than the ‘beasts’ so it gives me the opportunity to now harvest & dry in stages. Ive set it up for temp and rh tests. Plants getting fed with half strength nutes now every other feed. I hate this stage when they’re so close but just not quite ready

Since I was cleaning out the trays I thought I'd give the girls a bit of a photoshoot today. All getting soooo close (hopefully this weekend for some of them). Even got my first purple plant this grow, she looks so good to the naked eye I'm kinda sad I have to let her go but needs must.

Finally the day has come, harvest day! Well 8 hours spread over 2 days and I really couldn't be hapier with my second harvest. The 6 bag seed solos exceeded my expections and shlould get a decent yield out of these. I let these grow naturally and only did a bit of light defol. I broke a cola a week ago from the small purple one so let it dry and then cure for 2 days. It was the smoothest cleanest smoke I've had, it's like vaping. Can't wait to try it once it's been cured propoerly. A fellow famliy member who's a grower, swears that dry drim can give better tasting buds so I've decided to try half wet and half dry trim to compare. The 3 large plants are all going to be solid yields although a bit gutted to find one of the big pot criticals had bud rot inside the tops. Thankfully it was only just starting to settle in so the rest was fine. Tent was never above 40rh at any time during flower and plenty of air flow so I'm putting it down to the huge size of the colas. The fat banana developed some lovely purps and she is so stinky and sticky, I can't wait to try her. The trim is packed with trichs so I'm hoping for some good bubble. Will update with weights once they're dried. Hopefully no issues with drying! And relax.

All plants are dried enough to get them in the jars for curing. Some nice sized nugs here (that monster is from a solo!) Pleased with the results. All the solos yielded at least an oz. Total dried weight for all plants 563g or just over the 20oz mark + a small jar of scraps for me to sample.

Some dried and cured (1 month) buds and bubble. Man I really nailed it this time! Some of the best stuff I’ve had. I let these get about 10% amber and what a difference it makes. Half a joint shared between 2 puts both of us on our asses! 🤟🏻

Have you tried out your dry trim stuff yet?
Another grower was so passionate about dry trim, that I thought I would try it out too. I didn’t notice any difference at all on 4 different strains, except for that the dry trim smelled more grassy than the wet. It tasted exactly the same. (What a pain in the ass it was tho!)
Back to wet trim for this girl, but it was worth a try👍

Yeah I’ve tried all but 1 plant. The ones that were dry trimmed are super stinky and potent! BUT these ones are solo cups and every one of them are potent so hard to say. It is a bitch to do but I think I may try it again for more comparison.

It definitely slowed down the drying which could be beneficial in a hot or low humidity setting ... took an additional 2 days for the branches with leaves to dry, versus their wet trim counterparts
