    HELP! Viparspectra Alternatives???

    Hello everyone,

I have a sunroom grow going right now and I am looking to purchase a full indoor setup. I have been thinking to pretty much follow a setup described on this site, which suggests getting a viparspectra LED light

However, in the most recent newsletter, the author discusses how some LED grow light manufacturers are sort of falling behind with their technology, and Viparspectra is given as an example of this. The article doesn’t say that viparspectra lights are bad, but that other lights can outperform them pretty handily.

I am wondering if anyone has suggestions for alternative LED grow lights that are comparable in price to viparspectra lights? I was going to purchase the 600w for $160ish, so something comparable both in total power and price would be great. I am not absolutely set on LEDs, but would prefer them if possible, as they just seem easier to use. Thank you for the input.

I can not give you any alternative suggestions but I have 3 of the Viparspecta 1200 watt lights and have so far been happy with the 3 grows I have so far completed using them.

I'm extremely happy with these lights, only problem or issue is that they are to long for my grow space if I alternate grows. In other words old plant on left, new plant on right (Shorter).

This year, I will purchase two.

Sometime during the grow, when plants are similar height I should be able to use all three.

I did grow with viparspectra and had some awesome grows, but I like the full spectrum approach.
