My coco coir came in a brick that expands with water (how I assume most come this way). I’m prepping for my first transplant in a few days so I was gonna go out and buy a large plastic storage bin. The thing is that I’m not gonna need all of it now, but will later for final transplant. Is it safe to keep the medium in this container out in my shed (no climate control so heat and humidity will be there)?
If it is possible to store coco coir, is it also possible to reuse it given all nutrients are flushed and old roots removed? Thanks for any advice you can provide! Have an excellent day.
