I've run a few cylces 315w CMH and also 600w hps. Tent size is 1.2m sq or 4x4 foot.
Always had successful runs with both as I've got a few seasons under the belt now a days and also age lol.
My major noticeable differences would be the CMH setup gives way better trichomes, terpes etc yet yields lower compared to the hps run. The hps setup still gives great results but not those great oils I can achieve with the CMH setup due to the difference in light spectrums.
Now I've pondered 1000w hps before to get those bigger yields or a 630 CMH. I'm curious to people's thoughts on mixing the two..eg one 315 CMH and the 600w hps at the same time side by side. Obviously I'd have to raise the height of the lights from where'd they'd normally sit or possibly dim them down slightly .
Just chasing people's thoughts on this option or anyone who has tried it before?
