Hello,
I currently have a grow going in my sunroom, which is
south-facing so it gets decent sunshine. I have been working from home so I have been able to move the plants in the sunroom throughout the day to get them as much natural light as possible. I planted the germinated seeds in late April-early May, so they have been growing for 1.5ish-2 months. The plants include two Pineapple Express and two cereal milk, but I got both as bag seeds. They are starting to get a little too big for my space (I have also used a bit of LST and topped a couple of them) so I decided to build a frame out of scrap wood (about 3x3x3) and just started using it to induce flowering by covering it with a black tarp and putting my plants in it from about 7:30pm-7:30Am. It is in the basement of my home. The sunroom is about 70-80 degrees throughout the day on average and about 40-50% relative humidity. The basement is about 60-65ish degrees or so and similar humidity.
I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions to increase the quality of my buds or just my sort of hybrid grow setup I am trying? Any advice is greatly appreciated! I am a new grower (completed my first grow last summer and it was exclusively outdoors) and I am just hoping for some input on my setup from more experienced growers.
Edit: one more question.....besides the four plants I mentioned above, which I assume are not autoflowering, I also have an ILGM white widow auto that is about 3 weeks old. It is in the sunroom as well but I also supplement it with three basic LED bulbs I found in my house when the sunroom doesn’t get direct light early in the morning and later in the evening. I have two 2700k and one 5000k, both 60w equivalent or 9w (I’m super new to grow lights so sorry if this isn’t the relevant info i should include). I am wondering if I should try any LST with the auto, or if it is worth it to just let it grow since it has a shorter life and so I get an idea of how it will grow and how big it will get, etc? I have 9 more WW auto seeds so I’m leaning toward just letting this first one grow on it’s own.
