    Flowering Defoliation Advice

    Back Again!
This beautiful White Widow plant is exactly a week into flowering and I've noticed that despite some LST to open up the bottom of the plant more, the bottom bud sites just arent looking good compared to the top (Using CFLs so a few inches makes a big difference).

Should I remove these lower bud sites and fan leaves before buds begin fattening to save some energy in my plant?

    Strain: White Widow
    Day 7 in Flowering
    5x 60 watt CFLs

KushLyfe Welcome to the forum. I pinch off the tiny budlettes that appear down below throughout flower. They are called "suckers" because they suck some of the energy away from the buds up above. You will see them forming all the way through the flowering phase. Little suckers...

            60 watt equivalent.
I've went ahead and removed those buds sites about a week ago. This post can be closed now.

My new 600 watt ViparSpectra LED Light arrives tomorrow
