Little black beetle like bugs in my soil

I have just a few plants in my bedroom under a fluorescent light was sitting last night getting ready for bed saw a little bug fly Hit the Light it fell into top of my one gallon black pot I tried to grab it and it rained like hell buried in the edge of the soil right beside the pot so I tipped it upside down dumped it out and killed it

Okay I posted a picture I think I hope you can see it good enough someone let me know if it posted appreciate it thanks and any other ideas what it is I searched the bunch on the internet before coming to hears it's just complicated

Pic is there, but I cant see what it is, Food Grade DE does kill exoskeletons. Just put a nice layer over the soil (it is not an instant fix), for them it is like taking a bath in broken glass. (only works dry)

Neem Oil is a great bug and mold killer maybe sold near you as ...leaf shiner ...lol
