    Relative Humidity counter intuitive

So I just got my hygrometer from china 120+ days after ordered. For the first time I monitored he humidity in my room which has an ac wall unit. So I realized outside RH was 64 but inside the room with the ac on and the window closed got up to 72. So I been reading around and found this explanation of why the humidity increases when lowering the temperature. Which is crazy cause the higher temp the higher RH. Or I thought. I brought the hygrometer outside again and went down to 62. So even with an ac that supposedly drys out air. Is in fact making it moist???? What do you think

Relative humidity does not measure the amount of water in the air. It is the ratio of water molecules leaving a surface to water molecules sticking to a surface. Absolute humidity is the water quantity in air.
